Timothy Tuition Program: A Successful Non-Profit Organization Since 2008

During 2017-18, we personally donated a new bench, in addition to the one donated in 2002 to the River Oak Center for Children, in Tim's memory.

2021 was another year of Covid-19 and Foster Care Counselors had to continue visiting with the foster children via Zoom, Facetime and various Medias. It was understandably a very challenging time for both counselors and foster youth.

In 2021 we continued to receive many thoughtful donations. 100% of every donation goes totally to foster children. We supply
all office costs from our own personal donation in memory of our son, Tim. Some of our donations were:

• Three year old foster twins needed new shoes and clothing; one wore two different size shoes on his feet so shoes
  were very costly.
• Several English and Spanish translation books were requested for youth ages three to sixteen. Teachers appreciate these
  books so the children can study from home. A sixteen year old girl was especially appreciative, as she struggled to learn
  English and was becoming terribly stressed. We were glad we could help.
• Sports toys were given to foster youth who returned to one on one in person counseling sessions towards the end of 2021.
  The students could choose from a basketball, football, jump rope, badminton, and many other age appropriate toys to
  welcome them back and help them adjust, some had never met their counselor face to face.
• Booster and car seats have been a major necessity as many foster families do not have a car/booster seat to pick up a new foster child or take them to counseling sessions. We are happy to help keep these children safe!
• We had a request for various stuffed animals for the younger kids to give them something to cuddle as they met with their counselors. It proved to be a very comforting treat for the little ones!
