Too many foster youth end up living on the streets in California. We want to help get them headed in a positive direction and a productive and successful future.

2020

In this year of Covid-19, foster care agencies have had to rearrange their method of meeting one on one with foster children throughout the U.S. Through Zoom, Facetime and various Medias, many of the children had a continual relationship with their counselor if their foster home was technically connected.

In 2020 we received many thoughtful donations, and in June were awarded a generous grant from the SUNDT Foundation of Arizona/California. We have had requests for backpacks for CASA “Child Advocates of Placer County, Rocklin, CA.”, and a request for suitcases and duffle bags from River Oak Center for Children in Sacramento, CA. In December we ordered 100 fun and interesting books for foster youth, ranging in age from 5 to 18 for the CASA Program. These books would create a bridge between counselors and children as they read them together on ZOOM. It’s sad to realize many of these children have never owned their own
book previously. We anticipate future book request very soon. It’s proven to be a great tool for counselors/students during these challenging times.

Thank you for your interest in our program. Our only goal is to help foster youth. We personally cover all expenses we incur and every cent of every donation benefits foster children.

2018–2019

In July, 2019, ninety seven (97) backpacks were delivered to CASA in CA., 3 sizes to cover all youth needing one.

Car seats were purchased for the California CASAS Program, helping to ensure a safer ride for young foster children being transferred. River Oak Center for Children received more shoes and socks for needy children in their many programs, Timothy Tuition Logo water bottles were sent to various organizations for use on day trips and hikes, and logo pens were widely distributed. We were contacted by two new organizations in Placer County, CA, anxious to include us in their foster youth programs. Suitcases were sent for 3 siblings ages 2,6 and 8 who were transferred to a new foster home with only a banana box with their belongings. It’s great to be able to provide what is needed and help them in whatever they may need. We are proud to be a non-profit that keeps on giving, thanks to thoughtful people who care!

2017

In the fall we were awarded a generous grant from the SUNDT Foundation. We had been contacted by Northern California Foster Care Agencies requesting warm coats for their youth, and with SUNDT's donation among others we were able to supply two agencies, Paradise Youth and CASA/Family Mentor Program with warm and cozy winter jackets.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Rocklin, CA, also received padded computer bags for students receiving Chrome Books from school. CASA had an awesome program to help teenagers understand what their future will be once they age out of the state foster program, or graduate from high school. This is held in a cabin away from their foster homes to gain full attention from the youth. We donated water bottles and headbands as requested. Shoes were donated to River Oak Center for Children twice in the past year, so many foster youth need them!

donations are tax deductible.
